Terms of service

These terms apply to Mark From Riverside Club, operated by Mark Menezes under the Mark From Riverside name and offered in the United States. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and provide accurate information.
Using the app
The app provides a local business directory, published offers and events, and access to verified membership cards. Free account creation does not purchase a membership. Content and availability may change. The service is not intended for children under 13. Users who are under the legal age to enter an agreement should involve a parent or legal guardian. Age-restricted products and venues remain subject to their own legal age requirements.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account, email, social sign-in, passkeys, devices, and authentication methods. Notify support promptly if you believe someone accessed your account without permission. We may restrict access that threatens the service or other users.
Authorized administrators may ban an account or delete it for serious misuse, security, or support reasons. You can contact support to ask for the reason or appeal an action. A limited account-safety record may remain as explained in the privacy policy.
Member card photos and personal use
Submit a clear, recent photograph showing only your own face. Photos of another person, pets, logos, drawings, group photos, and images that hide or substantially alter your face are not allowed. Administrators review submitted photos before they appear on your virtual card and may reject unsuitable images. Review is not a guarantee of identity. Staff may compare the displayed photo with the person presenting the card. Memberships and card photos may not be shared or transferred to help another person claim benefits.
An approved photo is locked to its verified card purchase. A new verified card purchase permits a new photo submission; editing account details, reinstalling the app, or deleting and recreating an account does not create a replacement allowance. A rejected photo may be resubmitted for review. Contact support for errors, accessibility needs, safety concerns, or privacy requests; these rules do not limit statutory rights.
Account deletion
You may permanently delete your app account from Account → Delete account and app data. Deletion removes your app profile and sign-in credentials. It does not cancel or refund a separately purchased membership. We may retain the separate transaction record and a one-way representation of the purchase email for support, recordkeeping, and secure relinking. If that membership remains active, it may relink after you create and verify a new account using the same email.
Memberships, payments, and offers
A paid membership becomes available only after a separate purchase is matched and verified. Mark From Riverside Club does not currently process payments in the app. All membership card sales are final, except where a refund is required by law. Requests for a possible refund must be submitted through Mark’s website for individual review; approval is not guaranteed. See our membership policy for details. Cards are one-time purchases for the term shown at checkout and do not automatically renew. Continuing after expiry requires a new purchase; creating an app account does not authorize a charge. Participating businesses control availability and may confirm current offer terms and eligibility before redemption.
Complimentary access and card eligibility
An administrator may grant complimentary access for a stated period of one to twelve months without charging you. Your card shows its current status and expiry. Complimentary access is separate from a website purchase and does not create a paid renewal. Only an active, eligible card provides the benefits described in the current offer; individual offer conditions still apply.
Community and acceptable use
Do not impersonate another member, falsify a membership, scrape or misuse personal data, interfere with the service, evade access controls, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the app to harass others. Information you submit must be accurate and must not include another person’s private information without permission.
Member reviews and moderation
Active eligible card members can submit ratings and reviews about their own experiences. Reviews and edits require approval before other signed-in users can read them. You retain ownership of your text and grant us permission to store, display, and moderate it to provide this feature. You can edit or delete your review. We may hide content or suspend review access for violations, including harassment, hate, threats, private information, spam, impersonation, or deceptive reviews. Honest criticism is welcome; disagreement or a low rating alone is not a reason for removal.
Use Report review for concerns and Block member to hide an author’s reviews. Blocking is reversible and does not itself decide whether a review violates the rules. Contact support to appeal moderation or report an urgent concern. See our community rules and privacy policy for the review process and data handling.
Photos and published content
Only upload or publish material you own or have permission to use. By submitting it, you authorize the app to store and display it for the requested feature. Administrators must have permission for business photos and other published material. Linking an Instagram post does not transfer ownership of it. Report disputed content to support with the affected link and an explanation.
Directory and third-party services
Saving an event does not book a place or buy a ticket. Remind me schedules a personal reminder; phone alerts require permission and may be delayed or unavailable. Check the organizer’s current details. You can change or cancel reminders and remove saved events from your list.
Business listings, schedules, locations, external links, and social content are informational and can change. Confirm details directly with the organizer or business. Apple, Google, Facebook, Instagram, maps, and other external services operate under their own terms and policies.
Availability and disclaimer
The app is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every listing, offer, or external source is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Mark From Riverside Club is not responsible for third-party products, services, websites, or decisions made from directory information.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when our service changes and will post the revised date. Material changes will be brought to your attention through an in-app notice or email, as appropriate. Updates do not remove non-waivable rights or retroactively change an existing purchase contrary to law. Questions can be sent to support@markfromriverside.com.
