Cookies and device storage

Mark From Riverside Club does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. This page covers browser storage and storage used by the installed app.
Sign-in and essential storage
The app stores a session credential on your device so you remain signed in between visits. Authentication and abuse-prevention services may use cookies or related technical storage when you sign in. Cloudflare Turnstile checks authentication forms for automated abuse; its processing is explained in our privacy policy.
Account data and device preferences
Saved businesses, saved events, personal reminder times, blocked-review authors, card-design choices, and club announcement preferences are linked to your account and can sync across signed-in devices. Clearing one device’s storage does not delete that account data.
Device storage remembers appearance, renewal-reminder and current BOGO preferences, dismissed local notices, and temporary navigation choices. Older device-only favorites may be transferred to your signed-in account. The installed app also keeps a random installation identifier and your phone-alert opt-in state; the server stores delivery registration when you enable phone alerts.
Social sign-in
Apple and Google, and Facebook when available, may use their own cookies or storage when you choose their sign-in methods. Their policies and controls apply on their services.
Maps, photos, and Instagram
Opening a map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap. An Instagram player loads only when you choose to view the post or video and may use cookies or other storage under Instagram’s own policy. External images and links also make requests to their hosts. Providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details; map requests reveal the area being viewed. You can leave social content unloaded and browse the business list without opening a map.
Your controls
Use Sign out to end your saved session. Clear site data in browser settings, or the app’s local data using your phone’s settings, to remove storage on that device. This may sign you out and reset local preferences; it does not delete your account or cancel a purchased membership. Remove saved items or cancel reminders in your saved list. Use Account → Delete account and app data for account deletion, or follow the public deletion instructions.
Manage club announcements and phone alerts in Notification preferences and system notification permission in your phone’s Settings. Browser or phone settings control location permission. Disabling optional alerts does not stop essential verification, password-reset, account, or membership-service emails. There is no advertising or analytics consent switch because those tools are not currently enabled.
Browser privacy signals
The app does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track. It does not operate advertising or sale-of-data tools that Global Privacy Control would need to disable. External providers may collect activity across websites under their own policies. You can leave Instagram content unloaded and use browser privacy settings to restrict third-party storage.
Changes
If analytics, advertising, or other optional tracking is added, this page and the app’s consent controls will be updated before that tracking is enabled.
